Welcome to South Craven Evangelical Church's website.

We are a Bible-believing independent Evangelical Church situated halfway between the towns of Keighley and Skipton in the village of Crosshills. We hold regular meetings, including for children of all ages, and we extend a warm welcome to all. New Sermon Series: Family Matters: Discovering God's Way

What is a family? In today’s complex society the variety is astounding. It can no longer be assumed to be husband, wife and 2.4 children. The values of freedom of expression and tolerance mean that anything goes and those who speak against are bigoted and arrogant.

But before we bemoan the state of society around us we need to consider why this has happened. Are the traditional values which we are often seeking to uphold the right ones or have they contributed to the current problems?

The aim of this series is to check all our views of Family Matters against what the Creator says in His Word.

How do creation, fall and re-creation affect our identity within the family? What should we be like? What should we be teaching our children? What message should we be sharing with the society around us?

The series will be accessible for those from a non-church background and the good news of the difference Jesus makes will be central to each message.
